Anyone up currently? I think there’s a faint NLC extending from NE to ENE. Hard to tell though.

Most substantial echoes on OSWIN radar so far this season today.

The daisy chart for the 4th is interesting, it clearly illustrates the great display we caught, but at around 5 o'clock  . On the 4th they first came into view around 10.50pm and lasted where i was until midnight. They probably were on view most of the night judging by photos..

But if the 11pm viewing is at 5 o'clock on the daisy , instead of 6, does that suggest what we are likely to see is at ten o'clock on the 2 day old daisy when its released in the evening instead of 11?
@Arnie Pie you have made reference to this, is this what you were talking about?

I remember a good show last year. Made it look like it was dawn they were that bright. I remember them easing and it going briefly darker again before proper dawn hit.

Latest Aim seems to be being eaten by something (high sunspot activity in my opinion)

However there was a clump floating around the 10 o`clock point that is roughly in the 3 day transit area

Very hit and miss......but a chance providing clear skies

current_daisy.thumb.png.6a0dd18b7bd873aa841facbd54b8daac.png

I'm not really expecting the eye popping bright displays that we`ve been lucky enough to observe over the last 3 years

Due to the relationship between the Solar maximums and minimums.....Sadly we are heading away from a Solar minimum which is favourable for bright displays
