    A dry night with variable amounts of cloud, and the first one without an air frost for 5 nights.  A few weak gleams of sunshine at sunrise but a sheet of Sc spread down from the north shortly afterwards and it's been cloudy since then, but with a strip of clear sky a few miles to the east.

    A slightly milder morning than we've had recently with clear skies and a very light north westerly breeze

    Variable amounts of cloud overnight but still managing another air frost with a min of -0.8C. Thats 8 days of air frost now this month, compared to the previous maximum of 5 days in April 1984. The mean minimum for the month so far is 0.0C - the 1991-2020 average for April is 4.8C!

    Now partly cloudy and sunny with a temp of 8.4C.
