Storm just erupted to the east of here, and I'm now hearing rumbles!

Lightning from the cell near me, keeping an eye on it.

Third day of thunder here.

Some fork lightning off that cell passing near and a rumble of thunder to confirm about 5 minutes ago.

hearing rumbles from the cell that just past over me

Edit: its the storm cell in my back garden, idk what cell it is as there are a mix but definitely the most active from the past few days but seem to be just flashes no lighting strikes yet.

Not sure, wether you woud have heard it as I was on the outskirts of Ashford but lightning within about 50 Metres of me and huge rumbles of thunder in football training, unfortunatly my Phone had run out of charge.

First loud thunder for a long time now, crazy lightning felt like it was within metres quite a few times, what a day.

Sounds like lots of action again for some alas nothing here today, except a fantastic view from here of the Cb near Cambridge right now - stunning!

I did hear more frequent rumbling then the last storm cells that came over here but unfortunately it came at the wrong time as i was having dinner so I couldn't record much and in the end wasn't worth keeping so i just deleted to recording due to dinner being more important

Two rumbles from a decaying shower passing just to the North at the mo. Very unexpected

Still nothing here this year really. I went out to intercept the quite tasty looking cell on radar as it approached but it blew itself out - no thunder and not much rain either really in the end.

That is beautiful. Had a couple of tasty looking cells earlier that delivered nothing!

No denying the fact that for cloud lovers like myself and last few days have been nigh on spectacular. However, didn't hear any thunder and nothing of note passed over, infact a lot seemed to dissipate before even getting here.

I was going to post the video of my near miss storm chase from May 18th. However it has a copyright claim on it as some of the contents are apparently the same as a channel in the USA. The footage was all taken with my own camcorder in Lincolnshire UK two months after the US video, so I have no idea how it could be the same content

I'd be shocked if it is identical

Here's a video of the nearby storm from a few days ago. I managed to capture one CG and a few more bolts.

I also apologise for the quality - no idea why it's in 480p..
