Remembering a mid March 1987 snowfall?

March 1987 was a cold month with much northerly and easterly airstream influence.

I'm trying to remember the exact date of a snowfall mid-month, I think around the 17th or 18th March. It was mid-week I think, decent snow on the ground in the morning.

I know we had a few snowfalls early in the month, but I seem to think this particular event was mid-month rather than early in the month. Either a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.

Welcome others memories, mine are hazy I was only 8 at the time.

Dubai Floods: Another Warning Sign for Desert Regions?
