It was disgusting to see such disrespect for the very animals that give Gordon  Elliot a very nice standard of living. The majority involved in the industry love these animals that risk their lives da

Thinking of you and your family this coming Wednesday, Tom. Wishing you peace and tranquility over the coming days. Regards BB

    Morning all,

Hope I find yourselves and your Families, well.

    Hi Callum,

I agree everyone's current Total, except Antonys' and yours.

I think the discrepancy with Antony's total is due to POLITOLOGUE's late withdrawal, which meant that Antony was placed on the S.P. Favourite, which was CHACUN POUR SOI, which was 3rd and gained Antony 1 point, which makes his total 24 points.

I agreed your figure of 15 on Tuesday but have you gaining 14 Yesterday, and not 15, making an overall total of 29.

                              CHELTENHAM FESTIVAL COMPETITION

                                         Current Standings (After Day 2)

    Bristle Boy       11       20                                             31

    Dreckly             17       14                                             31

    K/Weather       15       14                                            29

    AntonyBR7       15         9                                            24

Callum, I hope you're in agreement to carry on the Competition, to include the Midlands Grand National Meeting, at Uttoxeter on Saturday. Traditionally, it brings the curtain down on the Cheltenham Festival Week. I hope that's ok with everyone.

    4.50: - 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th. (S.P.?, 4pts, 3pts, 2pts, 1pt).

    WINNERS POINTS VALUE

    1/4 to Evens  (inclusive) = 3 Points.

    11/10 to 3/1   (       "        ) = 4      "

    100/30 to 6/1 (       "        ) = 5      "

    13/2 to  10/1  (       "        ) = 6       "

    12/1 and over                    = 8      "

It really looks an impossible card Today, with all those juicy Handicaps.

It could end up being a "Bookies Benefit", let's hope not.

I'm firmly on the Punter's side of the fence, these Days!!

The very best of luck to all, "Virtually" or "Actually."

I'd like to leave you with some Youtube clips, of Yesterdays, superb action.

I'll begin with BOB OLINGER and Rachael Blackmore, winning the Ballymore Novices' Hurdle:

Now MONKFISH and Paul Townend, winning the Brown Advisory Novices' Chase. Willie Mullins' potential Superstar, had to survive a last fence blunder, to land the Odds:

Now, The "Tiger" rolls back the Years and makes it 5 wins, at the Cheltenham Festival, when winning the Glenfarclas X Country Chase. As I stated Yesterday, he's Hayley's favourite Horse.

Thought it was very appropriate, that he should be ridden by Keith Donoghue, as Donoghue was the maiden name of Antony and Hayley's Grandmother, on their Mothers' side:

Finally, SIR GERHARD makes it 2 on the Day, for Rachael Blackmore, in the Champion Bumper. The Willie Mullins Trained Gelding defeats his Stable Companion and hot Favourite, Kilcruit:

Hope you all enjoy, what looks to be a really competitive Afternoon of top class, National Hunt Racing.

    Regards,

    Tom. 👍 🏇

Callum, I hope you're in agreement to carry on the Competition, to include the Midlands Grand National Meeting, at Uttoxeter on Saturday. Traditionally, it brings the curtain down on the Cheltenham Festival Week. I hope that's ok with everyone.

    Tom. 👍 🏇

Thanks for keeping my calculating in check Tom don’t know where I added the extra point from 😅 I will make sure to update the leaderboard on my computer shortly and yes I will continue for the Midlands National 😎
