Cloudy overnight, another penetrating frost for a time though temperature rising above freezing through the early hours. Still feeling very cold in the strong southerly wind.

Variable cloud overnight, a severe and penetrating frost. Mainly cloudy this morning, very cold, a little weak sunshine. Still patchy snow and ice around, though only around 40% cover. Some hazy sunshine through the day, though a good deal of cloud for the most part, very cold especially in the fresh SE wind. Temperature staying below freezing for the most part.
