Same here by about a mile earlier.

Lovely doing some jobs in the garden and bedding drying quickly on the line.

Pretty much dodged the showers here as well today so far too . Saying that though, there is a band that seems to be developing off Cornwall heading our way.

I missed it, it's been raining and I had my head down with my laptop, attempting to fix some of the worlds problems!

Oh well, according to the electronic measuring device a nice 3.0mm of rain has cruised through...hmm does look overcast though I have to admit..

A variable day today - missed all the showers earlier so had plenty of sunshine, then 4-7pm a wet period, which culminated in a period of torrential rain and even hailstones form that decaying thundery mass that came up from Devon. Now cleared through with big skies left behind.

From the local rag...

A DORSET based forecaster has issued an orange weather warning ahead of heavy rainfall expected later today.

The forecaster Dorset Sun has issued its own orange weather warning due to heavy rain which we can expect to see over the next 24-hours.

However, the Met Office has not issued any weather warning ahead of the expected downpour.

Dorset Sun said: "A deepening area of low pressure is expected to move in from the south on Wednesday afternoon and could see up to 30mm fall quite widely across the yellow shaded area.

OK own up  who goes under the alias of Dorset Sun?

I saw this on BBC news this morning. I whispered some naughty words then realised my 5 years arms were flung around my neck - head on mine - leg cocked up in the air - as I tried to yank on tights whilst watching. Hmmm forgot she was a little close to hear my whisperings. She now has a new word in a vocubulary! She has been told she is NOT allowed to say the F word! So kept saying ... "Oh F word that i'm not allowed to say"
