Snow here in Wantage this morning, wasn’t expecting that!

Settled on most surfaces too, about an inch.

It's having a go at settling on tarmac surfaces here now. Looks like it's almost over for me going by the radar though. Probably a better snow event then anything I saw locally during the February 2021 beast from the east. Good luck to anyone who's sitting outside for their re-opening breakfast in a beer garden this morning!

Best snowfall here for over 2 years. Shame it'll soon be gone!

At last we have had some rain overnight that registered in the rain meter, 1.2mm so far.
That is the first since mid March.

A low of 0.6c at 5:30am
Now 4.7c, grey and drizzly.

Interesting some parts of our region had reported snow yesterday.
Heard some north of us in Locks Heath had some very light sleet and snow showers yesterday.
Seemed odd as we had a lovely sunshine all day with 8-10c temps and a high of 10.5c mid afternoon.

Definitely more snow than the February spell here! Heavy wet snow for quite a while this morning has given a decent covering.

OK, enough, all this talk of snow again today, not a drop of anything down here as it petered out in reaching the south coast before firing up again over the channel..

I'd appreciate some rain please...

Not looking optimistic in that department over the next couple of weeks

A couple of showers first thing but otherwise it's been a dry day with sunny spells but still feeling quite cold. I was surprised to see the temperature was 11.1°C just now as it feels colder than that.

Reached 10.6°C, sunny spells throughout the day but still a cool breeze that seems to have lightened now

Got to 12.1c at 4pm yesterday.
Only had 1.2mm of rain from yesterday early morning drizzly spell. So looks like more use of the hose in the garden for a while yet.

A low of 1c at 5:30am, with a very slight frost on the fence tops.
Lovely sunny start to the day, blue skies all the way.
Now, 4c, 1032.7hPa, very light SE wind.

We had a good frost this morning and with little wind, the small breeze that was blowing is from the NNW, looking forward to a bit of warmth now.

Cracking morning. Off this week, so a later walk and we just saw two White Storks in the meadows on the way back.

What happened to the forum this morning.
Was getting a website down failure. Did it crash?

Continuing with the bright sun and blue skies here today.
The sun is so strong, had to open the greenhouse up as it was pushing 45c+ in there.
Now 11.5c and still very light 1-2mph SE wind.

I drove to Trowbridge at 07.30 and found fog after Westbury. I have just driven home and left the fog behind at Westbury!

Some good cumulus towers building to the South otherwise clear here.

Frosty start but a fine sunny morning here, high cloud appearing so I am assuming it will be hazy this afternoon.

Frosty start here, but not an air frost.  Clear blue skies until mid morning when the cumulus started to develop.  As yet, still some blue between clouds, hoping it stays dry as the daisies could do with cutting!
