Albeit a cool breeze, it’s been beautiful since midday. Great for an outdoor workout given the spots of rain earlier hardly dampened the ground.

Christ, it's slow to clear here.

I can just about see some brightness to the North West, but it's taking its sweet time.

Groundhog Day weather this week albeit rather pleasant.

Cloudy mornings, sunny spell afternoons and pretty sunsets.

Just the briefest light shower mid morning from the weak front.

Today resembled many a summer convective day when trains of showers or storms line up inland over the Mendips while it stays dry and sunny here. Sky looked grey for a good few hours this afternoon to the south but stayed mostly bright and pleasant enough here.

Oh Jupiter! I pray for you to give us rain for the new pond. I hear a few spit spots! Radar looks promising.

But please let us have a gloriously warm, sunny spring after the pond is filled.

Squally heavy rain moved through in the last hour or so.

A short spell of squally wind and rain pushed through about an hour ago, looking a bit brighter to the west now though

Day off today, so I spent the morning removing the ivy roots from the fence that I smashed down last week.

Soaked is an understatement. And Knackered. Soaked and Knackered.

I wonder what the OH will think if she comes home at 4 and finds me three pints up.

Only 3 pints!?

Very active morning with gusty wind and sunshine followed by squally heavy rain then, after a calm drier hour, a heavy blustery hail shower recently.

Clear sky edging nearer now and temperature dropping at 5.9c .

Ha. Just remembered that I said I'd fix the coffee machine, so it'll have to wait.

Might watch a bit of the though.
