Off topic and whilst not being able to sleep for fourth night in a row despite trying since 3am I’d thought to post a couple of photos from memory Lane . 3 years ago. 
 

i was driving my son to school and noticed an incredibly localised ice Crystal snowfall event at a place called Oldford. 
 

There was quite literally a 100ft wide snowfall Ice Crystal mist area. 
i stopped with my boy to admire and capture stunning ice sun dog Crystal rainbow. 
 

here I show the localised snow with literally just brown no snow areas either side of the mist snow belt slightly further along the road as well as the ice dog. Wish I had a drone back then …..

Morning all Spring is certainly on the way, overnight frost, clear skies, calm sea, Anthem of the Seas has come back after a day out in Le Havre, really nice start to the day....overnight low of -0.1°C at: 06:23 (yup it was a scrape the screen clear before setting off this morning), currently 4.3°C , pressure 1037.8mb and airflow from the NNE...

A little bit of due on the grass and garden this morning.
Clear blue skies and a sunny start

Went down lower than I thought it would here last night with a low of 0.4°C. Sunny all day and feeling pleasant. 9.2°C

What a day! After a low of -0.4°C, blue skies all the way and a max of 13.2°C. Perfect gardening weather.

 

@Dean E New PC build done. Just a shame that it's almost impossible to buy a GPU.

Afternoon all,currently 10.3°C dropping slowly after a high of 14.6°C around 3pm and a low of -1.5°C at 6 am.....an absolutely beautiful day,perfect for a day off .

Some good diurnal ranges there. Here was -0.4c then up to 11.9c .

-0.6°C was the overnight low... reached 12.9°C with sunshine all day.

Morning All, another great weather start to the day, clear skies permitted the temperatures to fall to an overnight low of 0.8°C at: 06:30, still have a frost on most surfaces..the sun has a clear route this morning as no clouds around, currently 1.8°C..

Early frost and extensive fog cleared about an hour ago and it’s another gorgeous day.

Hmm, the local rag is going for it..

DORSET could in for another cold spell in the next few days - which may include wintry showers.Twitter account Dorset Snow has told us that forecasts are showing a chilly patch will be heading from the north of the country, hitting Dorset next week.

This could bring with it "isolated wintry showers" they added, with temperatures at night hitting lows of -5c. They said: "I suspected we would have one final cold spell towards the end of February/beginning of March, and it looks like we will get one by the end of next week.

"High pressure will once again build to the north of the UK and this will introduce colder air from the north/north east.

Lovely orange tint to the moon this evening after what’s been another lovely sunny day. Was great to get out and enjoy it.

Didn’t think it was even possible, but got a very slight sunburn today. In February. A minor graze - I blame being stuck inside so much

Good to see people out and about getting some much needed vitamin D. Works wonders!

The chilly nights however are a reminder of the time of year.

Temperature 3.6c, hazy with pockets of frost left in the fields. More of a breeze this morning which made it chilly out of the sun.

Beautiful morning's dog walk, heard a least 2 woodpeckers and had close contact with a couple of buzzards (Ice thinks he can fly).

Looking set, dry and ok for the week.

Another Crackin day, garden time after an overnight low of 2C, today has peaked at 12.2C, but it has been warming out in the sun getting some of the garden chores started..still clear skies here, so could drop cool overnight again..gotta love these days, night chill warm days, perfek..
