Rain has arrived here

Looking at the animated radar it looks as if we are all in for a soaking again over night.

Rain has arrived. How much on top of the 22.6mm yesterday, and 15.8mm since midnight? Bets please!

Well and truly arrived!

Give me radar images like this over the usual boring weather fronts we get any day! Only problem is, I've got to make my way from the ferry to my car in half an hour just as it's coming in, with some speakers I've picked up second hand

Holy crapola! It is absolutely piddling it down!

Aha, and my dogs are sat at the door watching  the rain splashes(and waiting for a break) to go outside, (fair weather dogs or what?)

Had some by hail earlier during the heaviest shower.

Delayed the walk until after work.

More rain incoming.

A really quick rise in wind speed here.

All sorts going on!

I seemed to have found the fabled gap in the rain though.

With this evenings rain so far it's gone past 100mm for the month which now makes it the wettest month of the year so far.

Very wet so far this evening with very heavy rain at times. 12.6°C

We seem to have had our share of LOWs tracking through the Channel this year bringing copious heavy rain. Can we hope to bag one or two when it’s cold enough!?

Rain currently battering the East facing windows, that doesn’t happen often.

Can't see monthly rates but 24th July was my highest daily total of 56.4mm! Today only reached 16.8 so barely anything like gah!

That rain is further north than forecast..

I was thinking that earlier! Been dry here for ages and I was expecting a wet night all night!
