That's an interesting group of lows there..

And one in particular in the southern quadrant of the upper trough is of interest in our area tomorrow as it tracks east, preceded by another front. This could bring some heavy rain, with some storms in the mix, and quite windy along the south coast before the cold front drips down introducing colder air

The 0600 ecm take opn it

Feeling quite cosy tonight. Kicking back in the gaming chair with a bit of Mariokart, windows open, so I can hear the wind and rain.

Yes a breakfast memory for life for my boy! Eating toast, Dan Downs on Points West weather mentions a series of storms and at that very moment a bright flash just to the West! Door opened immediately to hear the thunder.

Might delay the walk a bit. Black as your hat out the back.

Edit. Don't make many, but that was a wise move. Absolutely smashing it down now.

We were up your way on Sunday Andy. Brother-in-law and his wife have just moved to Nunney.

Woken at 06.40 BST by lightning and thunder followed by torrential rain and more lightning but heard no more thunder.  We were on the tail of the system that gave the storms, but the earlier heavy rain came right through.  Final total to 09,00BST was 24mm.

Afternoon All,

Wind has picked up a lot in the last hour or so here, blue skies and beefy showers seems to be the theme at the moment.
