Thanks Beka, just a heart OP! Possibly a little more worrying than root canal, and I've had those, which depending on the dentist, I've not found to be too bad, so don't panic too much on that front. Hope to be released today to go home and begin my recovery..

Oooh golly! Good to see your still alive and kicking! Yup she did root canal me! Still hurts to eat on it today seems I have an infection at the root tip. We had been wondering what the lump in mouth was although its hard and bony rather than squishy so at my last visit they said just some bone. But seems i've had this infection since April and only just picked up on my 4th dentist visit ...! She put an antibiotic dressing in the tooth before temporarily filling it. Anyone know how long its going to hurt for to eat after?! Any way part 2 is booked for December! They are booked out until then! So I will see my regular dentist for a check up in September before then lol!

Let's hope they let you out soon. I know that paperwork can take hoooours before release at times! Lots of love X

On the weather front as we have digressed ... You will be very surprised to hear that once again we are under ... thick cloud! 17c ... Snoooooore.

Groooooound Hoooooog Daaaaaaaaay!!!

Just arrived at a very local campsite near Bradford on Avon

just about to put a tent up looking at the radar that looks like severe thunderstorms to me on the way

Fromey , Andy looks like you will be in the firing line there so keep a look out could be some good lightning.

Rain wasn’t on the menu for today but alas there have been a number of drizzle interludes this afternoon.

Otherwise, a quite warm feeling day, especially dashing in and out of air conditioned shops.

Felt a bit warmer today after yesterdays disappointment but still didn't feel very summerlike. Also cloudy all day again. Reached 19.7°C

Not sure what happened to all that rain that was forecast?  Just 1.6mm of drizzle this morning. The sun is out now, temp 20.7°C.

You were lucky it was quite grotty here for a while, it seems to have blown over now with small blue patches in the sky now.

The channel and dog leg of the coastline doing its thing in weakening the storms as they head towards Weston-super-Mare.

Places to the South and East will do well, while I'll be feeding of distant flashes and rumbles.

That backs up something I read on Twitter, seems to be lightning strikes as well.

Typical isn’t it. Didn’t seem to matter on many past occasions but I’ve really noticed it more recently.

Yep, me too. Really don't understand why but hey hoo it's certainly noticeable over the last 10yrs or so.

The flooding in the Middle East desert city of Dubai earlier in the week followed record-breaking rainfall.
