Morning All, and overcast St covering this morning more of a prelude to later in the day, but the odd spot of rain from this small area of liquid cruising past at the moment (Notice the hangover effect of the snow dome still in place)

Interesting ... yesterday, the Met Office was forecasting thunderstorms for this afternoon in my area, but now they have 'downgraded' it to a late afternoon hail shower or two.

They have increased the warning timeframe here

certainly doesn’t look like storms at the moment judging by the radar but as we know things can change pretty rapidly

Even tomorrow they have  a storm risk for most of the day.

Not much in the way of heavy showers yet - I think South Wales is getting most of the action currently - but a nice rainbow nonetheless.

Have the MetO gone yellow because of the campers?

Yes just passing to the South, anvil directly overhead, pretty frequent thunder in the last 10 minutes. Wishing it was nighttime to see lightning!!

Thunderstorm here too, tanking it down for the last 15 minutes and looks set to continue for the same again.  Dry until this batch came over, warm and humid.

A second storm passing South of Warminster, exactly the same as earlier. Anvil passing overhead again with pimply rain and hazy sunshine.

Must have been a big positive strike somewhere a few minutes ago judging by the boom.
