Less than that here.

The models now give hardly anything here over the next 36 hours. I've lost count at the number of  warnings I have been under and nothing has happened.

Couldn’t of put that better myself warning after warning all has come to nothing so far .

someone joked on the storm thread earlier that Met office put out a warning and he said that means will get nothing when they put out a warning which I thought was quite apt.

I am lost for words at the deluge over Warminster right now! Deep red to pink on the net weather radar indicative of around 60mm per hour rate!

Looks like we're about to get a right soaking!

The rain has finally arrived after a largely dry day following an early morning sprinkle.

As Karl says, a real soaking on the way!

20-40 mm is likely to fall quite widely across the area

Nope.

My own software forecasts have been trumping the professionals.

Had a few minutes of torrential rain here earlier this afternoon but apart from that there hasn't been an awful lot of rain here today. Reached 21.2°C, currently 16.2°C

Morning All, not the deluge some have had / are receiving, more like welcomed rainfall here. Visibly clearer to the south with some blue skies beginning to show as the beachcam hints...

28.6mm in last 24 hours, most fell overnight as we had a dry day yesterday after early showers.  Brighter out there at present, but chance of more showers this afternoon?

Today’s weather can very much be summed up as ‘gunky’. Looks like November.
