Great beach weather this morning, pick your own piece of the real estate...

Nice heavy band of rain over us at the moment, dogs looked and went "Nah, not going out in that.."

Cloudy and dry so far with occasional sunshine and a brisk breeze. Feeling quite cool compared to if late. The rain is not far away to the east... would be nice if it could stay there!

Right on the western edge of the rain here, only light drizzle in the last three hours, nothing has penetrated the gauge yet.

It's been raining for 18 hours straight now ...!

Nice droppa rain...

Now I have to get out and figure why my tipping sensor isn't working, having not had any rain, I didn't know (obviously)..fortunately my other davis system has kept a check on things so I'll have to update my log later...although it does look as though this be around for a while

Looking like the Thames Valley could end up with some remarkable rainfall totals today. Some PWS's here in Reading are already recording close to 50mm today and the radar shows that we've almost certainly got a few more hours of heavy rain to go.

Don't have a rain gauge but the amount of rain here in last 24h seems incredible.  Flooded roads locally too..

This must be up there with 20 July 2007, or 11 June 2012 here anyway.

We've gone from summer 2018 like conditions to 2012 conditions in the space of 36 hours!

I've just gone outside and dipped the tape measure in my rough and ready 'rain gauge'... 69mm. It's still raining albeit less heavily. My measurement may well be too high, of course, but I notice that 50mm is being reported widely in the area and a station in Hartley Wintney is showing 71mm so it may not be that far off. Unfortunately the Reading University rain gauge doesn't appear to be working today so we may never get a final official figure here.

36mm here although I feel that is somewhat under rated! The monthly total is 50 though so most of it has dumped itself in the past 24 hours! It's just about still going here although very light now

18.2mm today. Nothing heavy, so perfect to soak in to the garden. Feels like one of those mild Winter days..

Here's the total rainfall accumulation for the past 24 hours.

Yes we now have a lull up here too, after 22 hours non stop!  A bit more incoming though yet by the looks of it

Just seen 52mm at nearest station Odiham within last 24h

Afternoon all, currently 13.5°C..RH 97%.....31.50mm precipitation with a rate currently 16.76mm/hrs.....I think it's fair to say its quite heavy right now and looks like plenty more to come.

I only wanted the new seeded lawn to have a generous watering......could be a swimming pool if this carries on .

No longer raining, total in last 24 hours is 0.5mm, temperature currently 15.3°C  Not sure that it has done the garden much good, but glad I cut the grass yesterday!

Very heavy rain here in the last hour, we've had 17mm fall within that time. This has caused localised flooding on all the local roads.

Not seen this much rain in a while!

Currently 13.5°C with heavy rain. Total daily rainfall amount 33.9mm!

I think that 52 is nearer to the mark. It started again here for school run. We got somewhat drowned! I've just brought some wellibobs. My trainers did not survive the morning ... So we are are now at almost 25 hours of rain. It didn't stop long before so i'm not counting that lol
