If u book anywhere in Torquay it's all fine. Popped down there for 3 nights the other week. Everywhere is v relaxed; dont even need the covid app to get in the bars, etc; name and phone number is suffice.

That's good to know, although really only planning a daytrip at this moment. I'm more concerned about how sunny or not it may be lol.

Ha, methinks you got the good stuff, it did brighten here for a while before going downhill again, as the graph shows..

Even the beach only has a few stragglers..

Not a great day here with mostly cloudy skies for a lot of the day and fog later on this afternoon with a cool breeze. Reached 16.3°C, currently 14.4°C

My parents saw a funnel cloud during an intense downpour late this afternoon, they live in Yate and it was SE of them. I went home just 30mins before and skies were clear missed all the action and hence no pictures.

Well today actually turned out better than yesterday here on the sunshine front. Saw the big clouds to the north but most of the clouds stayed away, so warmed nicely to a high of 23.2C. That sun felt hot today!

Cloudy and dry at first but it cleared away to leave plenty of blue sky throughout the afternoon. Reached 23.4°C

Down here, I had daffodils in bud up until about 2 weeks ago, now that's late..

I'm clutching at straws....I'm moving in a few weeks, I'll no longer be living on top of the Mendips (currently in rental house at 870ft asl) I'm going to have to get used to being almost at sea level, a mere 100ft asl. To add insult to injury, the Mendips rise to almost their highest point just 1 mile from my new home. I'll be able to see the snow on the hills whilst I pray for it to fall on lower levels too. Hoping there's at least some truth in old weather lore.

Almost touched the 20°C point with 19.8°C at: 14:33..now down to 15.7°C..

Cloud took ages to break today, took until 2pm and temperature no higher than around 20 as a result.  Good sunset through altocumulus tonight though

Morning All, clear blue skies after an overnight low of 6.2°C at: 04:50, currently 14.2°C, light breeze in from the SSW, RH80%..

Setting up for a long spell on the beach, and some young folks in the sea already, must be summer!
