Greetings all from the top of the Mendips, was sunny for a bit today but clouded over again now.

All the hawthorn around here is covered with so much blossom it looks like it snowed. Earlier in the year the blackthorn was just the same. If weather lore is anything to go by, we're in for a hell of a winter  Is it the same where you all are?

It looks fantastic everywhere, another aspect of nature that is about 4 to 5 weeks late.

Cloudy for much of the day, although the sky cleared here about 7:30pm.. reached 20.8°C

Cracking morning...clear sky and a gentle breeze after a fairly heavy dew

Morning All, a cloudy start as we sit to the edge of the rain affecting the SE this morning,

however blue sky is to the west as the beachcam confirms

Overnight low back in to the single digits with 8.7°C at: 02:47, currently 11.1°C with a light breeze in from the NW, RH78%..

A cool but cloudy start here, but the clouds have thinned out and the sun is starting to burn through the cover hopefully it will now warm up a little.

It was still cloudy first thing, but since 9am it’s been sunny with the frontal cloud moving more eastwards. Clear sky all the way to the west.

Hmm, folk lore and a cold winter, well I think I'll pass on that idea..

Down here, I had daffodils in bud up until about 2 weeks ago, now that's late..

A build up of medium size Cu through the morning and feeling cooleer than yesterday

A stunning afternoon here! Doesn’t have to be mid twenties and up to be summery - just has to be sunny with hardly any wind!

Brighter cloud with the odd chink of blue coming through. Not convinced its going to fully clear anytime soon though. I wanna go on my sun bed lol

21c. Clear blue skies. Been beautiful here since late morning. Watching the horse racing from Epsom and they've had rain most of the day.

Fairly cloudy this morning with broken Sc and a few wisps of St underneath,  and a gentle breeze

An influx of St recenly, misty and damp
