Beautiful start. As long as that high cloud to the south doesn’t invade it should be a cracking day!

Satellite image suggests the current cloud will move away westwards, and there is a fair bit offshore as the images shows..and the light breeze in from the E now having moved from the SE..

With the patchy cloud showing on the webcam, meanwhile it sunbathing for the folks making their most of the fine sunshine..

The stripe of cloud (albeit reasonably high) seems to want to hang around... from the latest satellite shot

Meanwhile on the coast and over the channel clear skies prevail

The aforementioned and aforemoaned high cloud is a mixture of Cirrus and Altocumulus which is beautiful to look at and not in any way detracting from a stunning day!

Seriously it is a gazillion times better than the last god knows how many Sundays!

Christ what does one have to do to get a sunny day round here! Completely milky sky now... such a disappointment.

Sympathies mate! That was us yesterday. It's so painful isn't it! Meanwhile does the south barely scrap the low 20's when the rest of the country is in mid 20's?! We are normally nice and hot here!

So frustrating. Didn’t mind it yesterday as it was supposed to be cloudy, not today though.

Milky sunshine this afternoon.. not the clear blue I had anticipated. Temp has been straddling around the 20°C≈ mark, whilst it’s 23°C/24°C on official obs half way up the country!

Been up for an hour, still grey and murky. Sun needs to get its blowtorch out not a hint of blue yet, hoping for a decent spell late morning onwards though.
