Still crackin' on 12.8°C at: 13:14, noticeable a slight shift in wind direction AND a drop in pressure as the high slowly slips away to the west..

A few more brave souls on the beach today

From a low of +0.2°C we've maxed out at an incredible 15.5°C.  Less breezy and so feeling pleasantly warm in the sun this afternoon.

Just popping by to wish everyone a Happy Easter.
Hope you’ve all enjoyed some ‘cracking’ if rather chilly picnics/BBQS with family & friends this weekend

A cracking sunny day here. Had a walk around the remains of Pascoe's engine houses, Treskillard, for  the first time for many years

Finally some normality this weekend. Long afternoons spent in our respective parents gardens enjoying plenty of sunshine!

Now, what do I really want from this next few days? A soft hail shower or two would be fun. Such a rare precipitation type.

Blue skies all day and a max of 14.2°C. It actually felt warmer than the majority of last week, because the winds were lighter.

Morning All, after a cloudy night holding the temperature above freezing at a low of 4.2°C at: 00:00, which has slowly climbed to 5.9°C , with some early morning sun, which has now disappeared under a layer of St. The breeze as expected has a nip to it, in from the N/NNE, and increasing in strength.

This mornings satellite shot shows the southward progression of the cloud which does appear to be thinning in places

Whilst the beach cam this morning shows a deserted beach, and those wanting to brave it, with thick coats, gloves and hats..

Feels very cold out there today, despite the temperature getting up to the dizzy heights of 5.8c recently.

The cold feel exasperated by the recent warm weather we have all enjoyed.

Looking on the radar, there may even be some wintry PPN arriving into Glos and heading down into Wiltshire shortly;

Not a bank holiday to enjoy at the beach today!

Sun has just come out here with cloud rapidly thinning away.  Temperature has responded to a whopping 7.2c.

Out of the wind, in a sun trap and it actually feels rather pleasent.  It's the wind that's the annoyance.

Still on the warmer side of the cold front here with the current temperature just over 10°C, but not for much longer I guess.

We actually have snow- admittedly just flurries, but very bizarre after spending yesterday in the garden in a t shirt!

Yes, here too we now have snow flurries - not amounting to much.  Bizarre as we were in the garden potting up and my partner caught the sun.  Even more bizarre considering we had 22c last week.
