Cracking morning here. Clear sky and light winds. And better news on the midweek front with the low tracking a tad further west than originally thought which hopefully will lift the treat of severe gales, albeit still very wet and windy

One of the coldest nights this winter/spring last night, colder than most nights during the cold spell in Feb, with a low of -3.3°C. Mostly cloudy skies but the sun has been out for a lot of the day. 7.6°C

Thanks for this. I’ve a 2yr old lemon tree (grown from a gin drinking session) just sitting on a windowsill taking up space in the utility. Have brought it a little plastic greenhouse to keep the worst off of it but ideally would like it to the risk of frost to have passed before I stick it out.

Frosty and sunny start, and the last opportunity to get some washing out on the line for a while

Lot's of sunshine this past few days.. been really nice working in the garden. The low humidity has helped dry the soil out so that it made working with it easier.

The rest of the week I'm painting and decorating, so it's worked out well with regards to the weather.

Currently 7.4°C and the wind is slowly picking up.

Dubai Floods: Another Warning Sign for Desert Regions?

The flooding in the Middle East desert city of Dubai earlier in the week followed record-breaking rainfall.
