Nice sunny start this morning but by lunchtime it had clouded over with some light drizzle and is currently very blustery but dry again.

Some fascinating fast moving wavy clouds today. Late morning for an hour and again since about 15.00 . Think there may have been 2 weak fronts with sunny skies and mid level cloud either side. Very gusty too.

Have had a gust of 43mph this afternoon - boy it's windy, and odd to have it so strong from the south. Dry though with intermittent brightness.

Is intermittent brightness the compatriot of rain showers? (Usually!)

Mostly cloudy and dry today, a few bright spells with that gusty S’ly. Up to 11.1°C at: 18:02... currently 10.6°C

Often yes. Today was dry though... a lot of fast moving low cloud with occasional breaks revealing all manner of mid level stuff above.

Morning All, WARM out there this morning even in the moderate breeze that still persists from a SW direction, after an overnight low of 11.2°C at: 00:13 currently 13.4°C and mostly cloudy.

the beachcam shot this morning showing the still choppy sea..

The brisk SW has chased anthem of the Seas around in the channel over the past as it tracks to keep position in the brisk wind even this morning..

Well we managed one dry day! Heavy showers now!

Strangely humid southerly breeze. Warm in the sun. Nice.

Yeah stepped out in a tshirt and didn’t even feel chilly. Quite pleasant when the sun pops out actually. Had a few brief showers though at times.

If not for the wind it would probably feel warm today. Nearly hit 14C in a brief sunny spell earlier.

Bit of a strange one today, started out warm but with a fairly strong breeze, the wind dropped out and the temperature fell back, then the wind picked up again and the temperature rose..shown below quite nicely..

Ah, situation normal this morning, overcast and raining, was concerned that a sunny start and dry was become norm..phew. Anyway overnight low 7.4°C at: 06:06, currently 8.3°C and a stunning 1mm of rainfall..

Anthem of the Seas has let the area and is now docked in Le Havre, so it's not the fact the visibility is low this morning, she's gone..

A high of 14.8c yesterday, a very pleasant day too.
Was 12.5c at 1am, a low of 8.7c at 7am.
Has stayed dry here since that 1mm on Monday
Now 9.2c, 1026.7 hPa, W moving more to to WNW 8mph wind.

Cloudy all day although it has brightened up a bit over the last hour or so. 11.1°C
