Some reported lightning south of Wells, as this puppy moves east, not looking over feisty for down here to be honest..

Just started raining here and it's pretty dark out to the West. Doesn't look like it will last long.

Bright spells earlier but has gone quite dark now with that band of rain to the west of us edging in... up to 10.7°C earlier

Currently 9.8°C

Clear skies on the back edge now. Hopefully back outside in a bit, after a temporary blip.

Clearing up nicely, was also treated to a rainbow despite getting a little soaked...

It's a big one.

BBQ will be fired up at some point this week, I'm sure. Probably at the weekend.

Morning All a wet start to the day, currently 9.6°C with a moderate breeze in from the SW..

A couple of slightly more intense thin bands of rain have formed over the hour..

After early rain it cleared up for a rather sunny morning but has now clouded over and its now raining  ? again.

 

Had a short walk this morning early doors which cleared the cobwebs.

A thoroughly miserable afternoon, I had really hoped the rain could have been kept to a minimum its going to be flooded yet again around here. Plus the weekends forcast is looking more annd more wet and les and less warm, sad and grumpy face on...

The cold weather seemed to dry the garden out well, but it was an illusion. After todays rain it has returned to swampy grass. Doesn't look as if it will be drying out again anytime soon. 

Really looking forward to some dry, warm, springlike weather now.

Just past midway on the month, and just past the mid point of last years totals, so are we going towards another wet February, it looks that way, given the cooler start it's beginning to gallop on the rainfall figures...unlikely to see any colder air now this month, so with a dominant Atlantic, we could catch last years totals..

yellow rain warning for Dartmoor is now Friday 9am until Sunday Noon - going to be some big problems i reckon. If only all this had come during the cold air... would have gotten buried, if it had all come down as snow
