Can anyone get to this page?

Officially the most up-to-date weather reporting live from Southampton. With the very latest forecasts, charts, weather tv, marine info, astronomy and much more.

I swear by this for temps and current conditions, but it seems to have gone down!

Does anyone know of any other Southampton based stations?

I think they have a coding error that needs to be fixed. I suspect it will be at some point.

A friend owns this one: https://www.tottonweather.co.uk/

There's Gosport: https://www.gosportweather.co.uk/index.php

A few snowflakes floating in the wind here. Nowt showing on radar nearby, so guess we're not really due anything.

Well after checking models this evening I am still none the wiser

Chances always seem 5 days away for us only to melt away.

Now when something like that happens I class a cold spell as being decent, that was the 2018 bfte. The shower streamer that setup in the channel caused this, also hit parts of south devon as well.

St Ives is gorgeous in any weather but I've never seen it in the snow. Beautiful

There's a band of showers looking like it may get down as far as the Dorset coast overnight and this was mentioned on the BBC local weather just now as possibly producing a couple of centimetres.

Here's the 18z Arpege which shows it very well:

Could be a snowy surprise for some in the morning!

It barely touches Dorset coast I’m confused? Bit of a reach.

We just need a wind direction change - that'll occur tomorrow morning. Hopefully, you may see the streamers move more toward your direction.

Yes, on that model it only just about gets to the far east of Dorset, but I only posted it as an example..........

May not even get that far of course but the BBC graphic had it getting a bit further over and the forecaster mentioned it getting as far as Dorset so just flagging it up

Some of you may want to keep an eye on what is going on in the English Channel.

The moisture south of Cornwall/Devon is moving/developing N/NW. Probably ahead of the low moving into N France.

May be of interest later.

On that note, anyone got snow in Poole/Bournemouth/New Forest area at the moment?

I’m on the northern edge of that snow and I have light snow right now. -2.5°C

Some developing moisture from a potential Thames streamer, as well as off the coast from the English Channel (maybe ahead of the low moving into N France).

Could be some surprises for some in the morning. I suspect mainly south of the M4.

Nothing much here at the moment as the heavier strife is just to my north. I was about to go to sleep by after checking the radar I’ve changed my mind

Seems to be some moderate snowfall developing in the Southampton/Eastleigh area at the moment, another area also developing near Hog's Back from Godalming towards Farnham/Aldershot.

Some sporadic light snowfall (perhaps streamers setting up) in some other areas too, along the M3/A303.

Hi, I'm a snow lurker so have been reading on here for a few days. Happen to be up as I have a 3 month old currently snoozing on me! Wow! Just had a quick peek out curtains but no streetlights . Think I saw white on the roof though

Morning all. Up early to watch Sir Jimmy polish off the Indian batting line up.

The slightest of dustings here. Couple of mates in Lymington just mentioned on WA that they have a dusting.

They love it when I tell them about streamers.

Those apps are like going down a rabbit hole.  Continued viewing can drive you mad, I still look though!  Ha the downgrade on those apps can happen 6 hours before. Radar and wind direction in these situations. As long as the wind remains ese we are in with a chance as soon as it shifts to a southerly its usually game over and the only thing left is to drive to Princetown!

Well it now shows barely any snow Thursday, but more Friday...!

I went to Princetown on NYE and there was a good covering of snow there then. You can always rely on there being much more snow there!
