Completely overcast now and positively chilly. Not bad from about 11 til 3 with hazy sunshine. Time for jeans and a hoodie. Dan's forecast was spot on, keeping everything south of Norwich, unfortunately.

Well managed to play golf here in Welling both days. Weather yesterday hot and sultry. Today just down right sultry. Few rumbles as we tee'd off the weather gods were in our favour today.

Big storm to the North London as I drove up the A2 but nothing here really again. Not a bust but not a total storm fest.

And west of east anglia. I firmly believe east n west should be split and the west should be west anglia, because the east of anglia is almost devoid of anything nearing interesting weather!

Again nothing here, didn't even hear a single clap of thunder. I have been so unlucky this year.

Well, the weather report from the North Cornwall coast for today couldn’t be any further from home….

Another beautiful Cornish summer’s day here…very respectable 22°c for much of the day in clear blue skies!

Picked my parents up at Bodmin Parkway this afternoon, as they are joining us for our second week in Port Isaac. They said the rain was torrential when they left Haywards Heath at 9:30 this morning…

Anyway folks… tomorrow we go on a boat trip… we will get to see the dolphins and pilot whales seen every day for the last week… the forecast suggests the weather will be kind so hopefully tomorrow evening I’ll be able to post a few sea based photos rather than a contented seagull, or two

A mostly cloud morning with limited amounts of sunshine. However with the offshore wind the temperatures are doing fairly well. Around 23/24c across the west of the region at the moment.

Got something approaching Dover from the NW, probably just a shower, but looks like a whole line of something trying to build.

Pretty good day overall, plenty of warm sunshine until mid-afternoon. Lovely warm evening, spent sitting out, playing mad games (culminating with luminous frisbee at 10.30!

Fizzled before it got here (again) - ended up with 5mm of rain from the morning showers and a brief go late afternoon so at least I didn’t need to water the garden!

Strange thing is people think we've had lot's of thunder this year. It's actually been very lean. Distant rumbles from the channel is mostly all we've had. One morning storm is all I remember. Where there was visible lighting, and the thunder was constant. That might have even missed you.

Once again it seems Norfolk will miss any convective activity today. It's getting silly now. Reading the storm thread is depressing tbh.

I go there to see all the pics and vids. Probably the best I'll get this year. We'll see.

OH reported a distant rumble at home, so that surely counts as an epic storm...
