Not in NW London, but that area of heavier precipitation is heading close to Reading, so will be able to give reports then.

It's been moderately snowing in Bedford for around two hours now.  All of it is struggling to settle, however.

Moderate fine snow, small flakes but a fair amount of them around.

Unlikely, as warnings are about to expire?

Only the Amber - the Yellow remains until Wednesday.  MO also shows a convergence zone from the estuary down across Kent on Wednesday.

Hope the North Sea can fire some showers off later. Odd flake fluttering at the moment. Radar seems to suggest not at the moment. We tend to do well in these set ups. Who knows tho!

We have had about 2cm overnight and this morning, blowing around a bit.  -1.4C at present with light snow, increasing a little.  Radar shows a large somewhat heavier area drifting across from Kent now.

Definitely picked up in SE London after a lull for a couple of hours.

Streamer activity in the north seems to be moving south too.

Precipitation area to the north of me seems to be enlarging and gaining some strength looking at latest radar. Just on the southern area of that here in wgc. image.thumb.png.1539303b48fe52fa814516d6f04ce7d3.png

Any idea when these supposed streamers will form and push across London into the Guildford to Petersfield area? BBC says heavy snow all of tomorrow for my area near Petersfield (lol) but MO shows little.

Looks like some moderate snow through northern half London now anyone there?

Yep it’s definitely picking up in intensity here. Persistent snow, now more moderate than light. Radar looking good for it to intensify further a little.

Still sub-zero at -1.5°c, very light snow fall, if raining it would be deemed "spitting" with rain. Winds light but making it very cold. Total level laying snow now around 5¹½" snow, 130-140mm.

Birds feeding well with 8 feeders dotted around the garden. Cats not too impressed with the snow though hehe.

Roads passable, paths treacherous in places.
