So happy that cloud has stayed north of London, finally a sunny day and feels lovely and warm. Probably one of the best days of the month, which says it all really.

lovely by early afternoon was in Kingston and it was borderline very warm away from the river ! but now zero warmth left back in Surrey Hills clear but the breeze is notable .....

Oops! Anyone else got soggy garden chair cushions this morning? That'll teach me to be lazy and leave them out. The decaying cold front coming down the North Sea overnight decided to be a little more active than forecasts were suggesting.

Drops of drizzle in the wind this morning, not enough to make much wet, but annoying whilst trying to move some plants around and plant some new ones.

I really hate this nothing weather. Cloudy skies, that inbetweeny temperature when it’s not cold but certainly not warm enough to sit outside and a nagging cool breeze. Just so boring. And only 20 miles or so west it’s clear blue skies!

Totally sums up how crap summer 2021 has been here in the East, ☀️ well below the average. As well as Spring 5 months of it. Top if off another Dull boring pointless August , can we just bin this month into Autumn,

Been a nice morning so far and when that sun does come out in any sheltered spots its bloomin warm still. Looks to be a decent enough weekend coming up.

The south east corner once again getting the short straw with the weather, the story of this summer. A few bright spells earlier but looks like some light rain or drizzle is coming through. Lovely

Okay it has improved with the low cloud lifting to finally get some sunshine. Still looks like we might end up with infill due to cloud bubbling up but it is a better feeling day.

Well the showers disappeared and was quite warm in my sisters garden in Lowestoft for the BBQ so not a bad afternoon. Hopefully less showers tomorrow here.

Darn it! (Other expletives available). After a beautiful start here with a clear blue sky and sunshine the crud streaming down the North Sea has moved inland on the stiff NE'ly and it's now 95% cloud cover. The next 5 days looking like rinse and repeat with the S and SE of the Region enjoying the best of any sunshine and warmest temps. The SW and Wales enjoying a lovely Bank Holiday weekend - nice!

Thanks to the sunny afternoon yesterday we managed to reach 22c, not too bad given a north easterly breeze.

Back to fairly thick stratus today, just a few breaks in this and it isn’t the type of cloud that breaks us easily.

The day started so promising, blue skies early on and some sunshine, but the cloud has increased enough to give some light drizzle floating about in the breeze again.  Was 11c at 7am, only 17c now and unlikely to get much warmer unless some cloud breaks appear.

Could be worse, could be chucking it down like it is as Spa in Belgium right now. And has been pretty much all weekend. Got nothing to do until the GP starts now,.....if it starts!
