flaffing around with spits and spots of rain here but nothing exciting happening

We have rain here, nothing else, although the French coast got some from this same bit of mess.

Half a dozen sferics north of Norwich, may have heard something but A47 traffic masks it.

A very average day here, sunny/cloudy with a bit of a breeze and reached 21c

Dear Lord, even Scotland is getting more out of this than Norfolk. Nothing but drizzly rain a couple of times.

Surprised you didnt at least hear a few rumbles of the thunder, the rain finally stopped about half 6, was torrential for a while.

Often I rewind the radar in frustration of how any notable rain avoids Ipswich like the plague. Hopefully with a WSW wind over the next few days we may get something interesting finally!

Morning all

Dan's forecast looks reasonable today but don't hold your breath in Norfolk...

A bright and breezy late spring/early autumn *delete as appropriate* day. Pleasant enough in the sun and out of the wind

Incredibly dark skies to the west of Surbiton this afternoon. One short torrential downpour so far.

EDIT: Under the reds and purples now with heavy rain and the odd gust.

Another one passing through, even heavier this time and a nice crack of thunder to go with it!

5 minute rain shower late morning.

Been dry all afternoon and some good decent sunshine in between the cloud.

Very decent day in the sunshine

Biblical moderate drizzle nr Norwich. The incredible lack of thunder and lightning was genuinely terrifying.

There was thunder in Huntingdon when I left work just after 3pm. Looks like there is a storm passing close to home now. Plenty of low rumbles at the moment.

Nice little storm in Norwich, plenty of lightning, nice gust front and a bit of hail plus whale's mouth.

Sadly there was too much mid level cloud as the storm cleared. Probably the only down point on this storm, I couldn’t get a decent picture.
