Clouded over here in Neatishead but looking at the radar, it seems the stormy activity is not east enough for N. Norfolk. Shame but might be a good thing as just about to head out in the kayak!

It has been rumbling with thunder for an hour and a half but the storm/rain has finally arrived. it might save me having to water the veg patch tonight.

Hey Dami,

Some activity bottling up to our N/NW

But just seems rumbles rather than full on storms going from reports.

Plenty of thunder and lightning observed from the earlier cell that hit St Neots as well as a brief downpour. Not the best day up here but of course others got a good result.

Some really impressive cloudscapes this afternoon, didn’t feel like the U.K. with those huge towering clouds.
The temperature peaked just below 30c, so I would consider that hot, especially with generally very little breeze and high humidity.

Less showers tomorrow and Thursday, whilst we won’t be the hottest part of the country, 30c should be achievable, in fact the latest modeL runs tend to make less of any sea breezes.

Nah me darlin'. there was almost one that slowly made its way towards Eastbourne on Monday evening. It got as far as Hailsham then broke up. I got 30 seconds of drizzle while up the road got a half decent storm. I blame the Downs. Suntrap of the south? Meh
