Think the batteries need changing on my weather station, it is apparently 188c out there today, mind how you go.

Currently 17c and sunny here but quite humid feeling. Feels warm enough out. The outlook over the weekend for here is basically slightly above average, nothing hot.

26c and sunny. Beautiful day. Can just start to see the cloud approaching in the sky in the west, but we’ve probably got 2 hours before it makes it here. So not a day ruiner at all. Lovely ☀️

Had air con on in the car and when we parked up had to open car doors even though parked in shade. Kitchen temp 25.5 without sun shining in and im sat without arms covered up at the moment in front room which is shady and nice breeze blowing through all the windows. Seems summer has shown its face here hurrah.

Lovely day yesterday with mostly sunny skies and the temperature hitting 25c.

Not looking likely today, thick cloud here since around 7am, you would think that the wind was blowing from the opposite direction.

Stands to reason that the day there's a partial eclipse it would be 10/10 cloud cover!

A few clouds floating around but mostly sunny and hot. Just starting to notice its getting a little darker (and only because Im watching for it) as the partial eclipse is happening.

Cloudy, breezy and 17c today actually feels quite chilly in a t shirt. Same as yesterday but at least it was sunny.

Very disappointing here. Only got the odd very fleeting glimpse of the eclipse. Alot of low stratocumulus and stratus meaning very little sunshine today.

Morning

The sky was clear enough for a couple of photos of the eclipse yesterday (we have a special filter for the telescope). The larger one is through the telescope and the other two are just from my phone with the filter.

Overcast and breezy here this morning, currently 14c.

Some heatwave this.

21c and cloudy in London..... in mid June.

That is because it is not a heatwave sir !

The business end of the summer is in July and early August when 34-35c is very possible.

This is just the building blocks for later in the summer.

Not in Bridlington it won't. Fool.

Anyway, I was being ironic.

Now back to your Yorkshire thread!

Yes what was a few minutes ago grey and overcast is now sunny with blue sky and white clods that are rapidly disappearing. Temp now seems to be shooting up looks like its going to be a hot one here people.

Stayed overcast and grey all day here with a strong SW'ly. Of course the sun makes it's usual appearance at about 7pm.....
