The half Mauritian in me decided to go and top up the tan today to get some vitamin D before I go for my 2nd Pfizer vaccine at 3.30. Loving this weather warm but not too hot IMO perfect for outdoors activities

Morning all..

Amazing growing weather now this year..  sun rain sun rain I've never quite seen the rodies with so many flowers and the growth on trees and shrubs is incredible.. in the nursery some of our bamboo is doing 2-4 inches a day! We haven't even  had to water that much...

Wall to wall blue skies here... the front cleared us late yesterday.. with a top temp of 21c still not bad despite the cloud cover

Same old same old picking out the worst charts every time because they don't personally enjoy summer weather... for me it's the best time of year.. everyone is happy and everything looks so green and healthy...

Judging by the gfs 00z plenty more summer weather to come and hotting up!

The growing rate is astonishing - my clematis Betty Corning is always a quick grower but this year it seems to have mated with your bamboo.....

Been there before for a beavers/cubs trip when I was about 7 don't have great memories though as there was a Thunderstorm which was fine in itself but a dinner lady got struck by lightning and I don't know what happened to her to this day, there was an ambulance and everything, was probably a negative CG and maybe only slightly hit her because the trip continued when it probably wouldn't have if she'd have died.

Cloudy afternoon after a high of 22c at lunch, very very light rain for about 5 minutes this afternoon, so that was boring. Allegedly some heavier rain showers tomorrow aft/evening that may (or most likely may not) have some thunder/lightening.

Not too bad, quite a bit of cloud and a couple of showers, but warm when the sun came out. A high of around 22c with barely a breath of wind.

Lovely afternoon in Hailsham, not far from the Sussex coast, with a spread of mackerel sky at one point.

The view from the train window out of points south of London Bridge of the shower clouds to the north helped me to calm down from my first encounter with "Mind the gap between the train and the platform" in over a year.

Lovely day here today, and now a low lying sea fog coming in.

There was a brief shower this morning that was unexpected (especially due to the lack of significant cloud cover). Lots of sunshine with some patchy cloud and it feels humid outside.

Bit taken aback by the rain late last night.   I thought we'd esCAPEd the thunderstorms mentioned as possible for late afternoon, but ti seems they decided to arrive a lot later instead!

Cloud burnt off by 11am and been blue skies since, up to 23c and doesn’t look like any chance of a storm today, NE looks in sweet spot.

Plenty of sunshine here this morning, the temperatures are rising nicely and we should hit the mid-twenties again.

Funny old day round here - woke in the night at 4:50 (already light of course) and it was thick fog.
Got up at 7am and it was sunny. By 8:30 it was misty again but that burnt away by 10ish.
Then a drive across town on my lunch took me through patches of fog, mostly near to the sea so I guess it was rolling in from there.

Clear and calm again now, temp down to 12.9c after a high of 20.7c mid-afternoon.
