The storm just past me, elevated lightning so not really visible but constant rumbling thunder, really relaxing.

Typical. All storms are moving W-E just a few miles north of me.

Small pocket of rain just reached us, half hour ago on the radar, looked like a wall of water headed this way, but almost all gone by the time it reached us. No storms for us in triangle as usual.

Morning all,

Are we all giddy with excitement over another yawnfest in the Eastern provinces?

What started as a sunny blue sky morning is quickly turning cloudy, still predominantly big white fluffy clouds but that no doubt that will change just as quick. Will we see a storm today, probably not.

Lovely start here as well but same as Blazerblue  big clouds building up and also a pesky light wind, storms what storms is the thought for our area non on the horizon yesterday and will get bypassed today probably.☹️

Amazing the difference a few miles can make in stormy weather. In Surbiton yesterday we got the edge of the storms = a few heavyish downpours and a rumble or two that could have been planes overhead. But those just to the east of us seem to have got full-on thunderstorms and stair rods. Maybe today will be our day for a good light show.

Grey outside and dry for now. At least I'm back in light summer waterproofs and out of the winter coats finally.

Lots of strikes about 8 miles north of us according to the lightening radar, zip nadda zilch here, not a drop of rain either. All around us!

Beautiful start to the day, I even went out for a run in short leggings and a t-shirt remarking that it almost felt like a Summer's morning with all the promise that brings. Now sitting inside with my hoodie and the lights on - got the washing on the line for about 15mins (bit optimistic looking at the incoming radar returns). Probably going to change my outdoor afternoon plans to inside ones.
