The area of fog showing up clearly on the satellite image. At least it held the overnight temperature up (+3C min) and for the first night in many there was no frost here. Should be nice again once it's burned off.

foggy start but now gorgeous clear blue sky a little breeze and birds singing. had early morning visitor hubby looked out could make out through the dark movement near our back door, shone the torch and there was a little hedgehog on the lawn. now we think it could be waking him up in the early hours as they can be noisy little critters, looks like im not to blame for his disturbed nights after all.

Lovely! More of a high white haze here sadly, probably due to the pollution(?) or something, the BBC/MO are still sure we will get some cloud building in the next few hours too!

Fog gone, lovely and sunny out there. Came home from walking the dogs to find my front lawn had been cut, my neighbour did it for me, bless her, as she knew I hadnt been feeling well.  Or maybe it was because the daisies were growing too high as I hadnt cut it in 3 weeks

Currently 16c with a light east to north east wind.

Was expecting to wake to thick fog this morning, as that was on the forecast, but thankfully not, quite sunny, hoping the low cloud doesnt roll in.

Was sunny and reached 14c around midday but has since misted over and dropped back to a chilly 10c. Really can't wait to see the end of this cold weather.

No fog here either to start. More cloud around today that has bubbled up since lunchtime. The temperature has reached a respectable 17c.

just got back from saxmundham oh the joys of tesco shopping! stopped of at hubbys favourite place peggs hardware . Must say i quite enjoy a browse around a hardware shop but sat in car this time, had car door open and with sun shining plus sheltered from the wind enjoyed a few minutes looking at trees and hedges. {must add peggs is in a rural setting}

Not too bad today, had both types of North Sea drudgery with mist/low cloud early this morning and then stratus during the middle of the day. But it has cleared now to leave a nice evening.

Another widespread frost tonight, this month is going to be a major outlier in terms of temperature and rainfall anomalies. It is unusual to be both near record breaking in terms of cold and also be very dry at this time of year. Sunshine amounts look very respectable too so it might turn out to be an okay month. Well unless you are a gardener...

Qute a hard frost here this morning, but that will soon be gone as the sun is already out with blue skies, hoping that east wind doesnt pick up again today, yesterday wasnt too bad after the mist cleared in the morning, but the nagging wind was still biting in the shade.

Wall to wall blue skies here and sun, but it's absolutely freezing indoors at work. I work in education so we have windows/doors etc. all open and when that breeze whips through the building its freezing. Area's of the building are cooler than it would be if we had snow outside! Stood outside for a bit to warm up, it's not bad in the sun then a gust of wind appears! Probably somewhere between 7-8c here at present without the wind-chill factored in!
