Heavy snow in Lowestoft, near blizzard conditions and drifting along the ground, a mix of snow and fluffy hail, wind very, very gusty when the squall came through, lasting about 30 mins, left a dusting on the ground and cars.

Elvis replies "look for some unexpected excitement across the regionals this afternoon and this evening!"

Remember folks the radar said rain yesterday for many which turned out to be flurries.

Outlook remains cold!

Its challenging in the gardens today. Biting wind and dull skies. Lots of 'tails and curtains' in the sky however so far little getting to the ground...just noticed a couple of pellets though ..

We have had a couple of flurries of snow here in Tunbridge Wells. Normally I would be excited about this, but my daughter is having her 18th birthday party today - in the garden, of course, with the correct number of friends - postponed from March when of course no friends were allowed but 'Never mind,' we told ourselves, 'we'll have it in April instead, at least it will be warmer then.....' - it is Arctic out there!

Afternoon all,

Hope I find yourselves and your Families, well.

There's a few flakes of ❄️❄️, here in Lee, S.E. London, at the moment.

Regards,

Tom.

Light snow here but the temperature is 6c! Certainly one of the highest I’ve seen with snow falling

We’ve got blizzard conditions here in west Cambs. Amazingly it’s settled on the grass and pavements. Started off as hail and quickly turned to snow.

Got down to -1.6 this morning here in locksbottom and after some pleasant sunshine in the morning and early afternoon the sky filled in and we have had some light flurries in the last 45mins.Temp down to 3.9 now.If skies clear could be another cold one tonight.Although certain blooms may have suffered I think the blooms from Camilias have been fabulous this year in peoples gardens-the best for a good 7-8 years I would say

There was a brief flurry of large wet flakes here in south Hailsham just now, but nothing settled.
