Lunch was delicious. Plenty of left over stuff. Always a challenge to try and see how many meals to get out of a joint/bird.  Apart from the bones and perhaps a little bit of skin nothing will be chucked.

Thanks.  Can but try, as far as possible, keeping the frost at bay. If it isn’t the frost it’s the birds. The joys of trying to be a gardener?

Gardening can certainly be a challenge but is also very rewarding. Glad you had a nice lunch. Been for a nice walk in the woods i live next to. Lovely day to be out. Maybe not tomorrow though....

A lovely couple of hours spent in the garden this afternoon. In the warm sunshine and out of the breeze it felt much warmer than the 14C thermometer max. And not a bad sunset this evening with the low sun on the incoming band of cloud, with the camera capturing the currently rare sight of a plane heading off towards the North Sea.

Today well yesterday was a beautiful day what a change approaching from our north max temps of 6C today factor in windchill will feel close to freezing. Frosty nights to come, and wintry showers for some especially for parts of East Anglia interesting weather following a very bland March.

wind picked up suddenly here, very gusty, will it snow or is that reserved for the north?

Some snow showing up on the radar, moving into the north east of our Region. Not looking pleasant on the north Norfolk coast with the Weybourne station already recording a gust of 47mph and the current temp (at 07.00) only 2.7C. Radar showing a rain/sleet mix.

BBC Weather got Sleet a couple of times today, personally I'm not expecting anything but who knows?

Very light flakes of snow swirling around in the very cold northly wind this morning, sleet/snow incoming looking at the radar.

Edit. Just looked up from laptop and it is indeed snowing!!

Surprisingly windy this morning. Forecast suggests some rainy sleet for late morning which scupper our plan for an Easter Monday walk.

Snow getting quite heavy up here, just now... DP must be very low, because the snowflakes are just hanging in the air; not settling, however.:santa-emoji:

Even better . . . the Beeb's app has removed all of today's snow symbols!

1.4c with little snowflakes blowing about in the wind, not even enough to make it to the ground

What a difference a day makes! Gotta love April. From sunbathing yesterday to seeing snow all within less than 24 hours. Almost like a drastic Midwest swing in weather with a 15+c temperature drop!

Can confirm the frozen stuff here as well. Cant snow at Christmas but can in April, always amazes me! To see such a turnaround in temperature in a few days is pretty impressive too!

Dubai Floods: Another Warning Sign for Desert Regions?

The flooding in the Middle East desert city of Dubai earlier in the week followed record-breaking rainfall.
