Wish it was Friday and I could stay up to watch the streamers - shame.

Hopefully it'll be snowing when I get up in the morning.

Night all.

@pinball wizard did any of the previous snow in Ipswich thaw or has it stuck around, with these showers adding to it? Must be some amazing totals there by now - my parents measured 11inches on top of their wheelie bin, tables and chairs in garden, and that was yesterday evening!

My friend lives there, though not much of a melt there was quite of lot of loss through Sublimation today.

Definitely a more Westerly shift with the showers now. Just had a shower pass through Southend.

Easterly, surely?

Here we go again in Tunbridge Wells..... it won't be Snowmageddon, but it's always lovely to see it.

So peaceful as the snow falls down. Beautiful.

I think the snow on Sunday had a noise to it, was a bit more icy and like pellets. Today though it’s the fluffier snow that makes everything silent...love it.

Wow, when did that come down? Just looked out my window to see everything covered in a nice layer of snow again.

Just had a nice drop in Detling, around 4cm judging by the covering on my van which was clear of all snow earlier! Radar looking like there will be more to come yet.

Looking at the road cameras a249 and parts of the m20 completely covered over!

No they’ve shifted slightly more west. All day I’ve watched them slide to my east within touching distance. But now it’s evident they are moving back closer to the Essex coast and into the Estuary.

After 5 nights of chasing I'm feeling more than a little fatigued.  Gonna have to call it a night.

Been a great day and topped off a good spell.

Happy hunting guys.

Currently light snow.

Temp -1.2c

So much so it's just given us a quick covering.

The way I see it Wednesday has best chance of delivering from this cold spell hopefully ground temps will be sufficiently cooled tonight, many models don’t turn things out fully dry till Thursday afternoon. The FAX has a convergence running in Estuary in morning interesting for SE London, NW Kent, South Essex / Surrey ect.

I think I’ve proved right the wind is now steering ENE London will be coming into firing ‘shortly’

Any one know why the stuff that passed over faversham and isle of sheppey  kept it's intensity  even when it got deep into west Kent? I'd there a convergence zone?

Convergence zone sat mostly over that area. It's why things keep pepping up as they hit near Margate and seemingly hold onto it.
