Hi Marie.. the winds are starting to turn more ese, so in theory, the ppn should slowly move back towards you.

Just watch the way the blobs move on the radar and you'll be able to see it.

Thank you

Well...MetO saying -4 tonight whilst Beeb saying -10 for Holmbury St Mary tonight.... and my watch saying it’ll get to -7... mmm quite a range.

If the radar is right we might also get a snowy surprise as well? It looks like there’s some prolonged intensity as the direction changes

Sitting in the conservatory with garden lights on and playing my guitar - looked up and saw very light snow falling and gradually getting heavier. Very unexpected and so pretty. Even my guitar playing didn’t scare it off! Perfect evening.....

Would say we have about 2 to 3 cm not great really mate

but better than nothing

only ever got angel dust falls

There was a period of snowfall yesterday morning that the intensity was quite good in Streatham.. I think the main problem was that the snow was so dry, it was just getting blown into piles.

Yes first this evening

But had a really prolonged  heavy show around lunchtime today

Good - that means the snow is moving back in.

What happened to John Pike? Used to be a regular with the FAX charts, miss his analysis of them.

Number of the high res models switching steering flow from NEly to ENEly or Ely overnight - so could see snow showers push towards a more westerly direction  for a time inland toward London, Essex and counties to the south of London, before fading by breakfast time.

That one over Hastings might not survive but there's a lot more coming in behind it
