Don't think I can remember a period where we had such light snowfall for such a long period of time.

It's taken since Sunday morning to accumulate about  2cm of snow.

The Tonbridge snow deflector was definitely switched on this time around!

OK Paul,

I'll trump you with the B.L.C. Streamer, Bexleyheath > Lee > Catford Streamer, delighting Snow Raven > Mark/Myself > Nanu.

Regards,

Tom.  ❄️

Don't forget me

i actually live 3/4 mile from the river and from my house i can see the river surface at high tide. pity there's so many new buildings gone up over the years as it blocks a good stretch of the river view now

Hi Paul. Whars your take on streamer for kent today pleas e

Having had a look at some charts tomorrow looks really good for your location.

A convergence Zone sets up through Mid and East Kent and also parts of Sussex bending away into the English Channel.

Could be some decent dumps of Snow from Medway Towns Eastwards to Dover, and places like Brighton across to Folkestone and maybe Eastbourne etc could get in on some decent falls tomorrow

Still snowing and been continuous since yesterday morning and really building up now. Although Darcy was a let down Sunday night we have now made up for it from these streamers. Enjoy the snow and make the most of it.

Easterly wind is really affecting the temp down here as well, Shoeburyness just hit 1.3c in an East wind and my weather station has crept above freezing for the first time since 7am on Sunday morning. We are now at 0.2c here.

But crucially the Dewpoint is -5c so no chance of anything other than Snow falling.

Light to moderate snow here in Raynes Park - getting up to 1cm depth now!!

Hopefully this steamer can keep giving!

This has been an extraordinary spell of weather. Granted, I only have 0.5cm of windblown dandruff to show for it, but it has snowed (however lightly) almost continuously now for 48hrs which is quite something.

Alternating between light to very light snow. I can see the darker cloud to the south of me! Still -1.3c. Difficult to judge if the moderate precipitation will reach NW London, seems to be fizzling out over NE for now.

snowing steadily here for the last hour in varying degrees of intensity. Having been out now we had around 2cms overnight. the top of the downs now has a good covering that gives that nice crunch underfoot when ou walk on it.

Had some snow overnight so now have a covering on roads, grass and all and been snowing this morning with a few heavier periods but mostly very light. I think the heavier snow has been just to my north according to the radar and what people from Surbiton and Wimbledon are saying! Meto had me down for light snow and sunshine so I'm glad to see that's being held off and the snow seems to keep coming!!x

Stupid question but how come the temp has gone up over freezing, I thought there were no mild sectors now.
Also I am not impressed with the temps they dont seem cold enough lol.

The snow is still melting here from ground up esp near buidlings it seems that the ground is so so wet and no real cold to get dwn and freeze the ground.

By the way is it a record yet because it hasn't stopped snowing here since sun am, although it could snow like this for the whole month and we wouldn't get much laying.

Any good for Hailsham Paul?

We’ve been a bit betwixt and between last day or so.
