Seems to be some moisture moving onto the south coast producing some snow, in SW Hampshire/Dorset, close to the New Forest/Poole and Bournemouth.

Again I have to wonder if this is connected to the Thames streamer development.

Can see the problem here Winds might be Easterly on the coast but aren't inland more a NNE if anything here hence why the heaviest of the showers about turn just after leaving Southend etc, very frustrating still light/moderate here  ut a gentle top up you can't sniff at I suppose.

Notice the much colder temps inland also 0c just to my east 1c on the coast but -2c to my west

I’m guessing there is a delay in the winds truly shifting.

Not doing bad though still we have had mostly moderate flurries now with bigger flakes in the mix. Slightly more E in the flow its slowly edging westwards NE here now rather than NNE

Well just leaving for work and surprised how much I’ve got .  Larkfield , probably about 3 or 4cm and still snowing ,  nothing really heavy but been continuous all night .

There we go finally a ENE flow in NW Kent added a good 2 or 3cms tonight so far and the best wind direction is only just here.

Not sure these snow accumulations can be correct no way near 14cms here! More like 6-7cms id say

Just woken up to some idiot in a Mercedes SLK whose back wheels are spinning around like a Hamsters Wheel, he cant even make it up a small incline and is making a right old mess and skidding sideways.

Anyway a good few cms have fallen probably around 4cm extra atm so upto 9cm on the grass now with is untouched and the car has some impressive totals on it.

Will get some pics in a bit, bin day today if they even turn up

Streamers making it a good deal West. Pity there is a 100 mile gap between them, with the West Country slap bang in the middle.

On we go.

Disappointed to wake to see that nothing has changed and the dreaded no snow zone is sill active. It’s always the same, so I’m not really surprised.

Snowing lightly and seems like we've had a little top up overnight.
