Really hope so. Going to be glued to the radar next 3 hours I think.

The front has pretty much decayed now and the North Kent energy is shrinking away south now.

Hoping we can get some proper showers going now between here and tomorrow morning.

Not really a lot of point having freezing weather without snow might as well have it mild (saves on the heating) humbug

Indeed it really has been a let-down for our parts so far compared to what was forecast. Not even a cm.....

We have had snow showers on and off this evening, and its snowing moderately here now, so its clinging on here on the edge of the band.

Absolutely chucking it down. Heaviest it's been. You can actually hear it falling.

Yes I had that about an hour ago or so.  Never heard such noisy snow before!

All the footprints and tyre tracks of the day have been erased in my street, it's lovely.

Moderate snow in Maidstone during the last hour, probably the heaviest it has been during this spell.  Looks like a potential streamer being set up for a few hours.   minus 2.4 here...  Roads around the estate like an ice rink, there were a couple of people actually ice skating earlier on the roads (in proper ice skating boots)  - impressive!

Another good dusting while in Sainsbury's. Untreated roads near home are ice rinks. Less gritting this year, probably due to Covid, just bus routes and main roads it seems. Greenwich council about 25% down on staff right now.

Still a slight snizzle now, but hoping for more overnight.
