Clear Skies overhead briefly and wow some temp drop.

All the energy get strangled out of that front sinking south and precip decaying now.

All eyes to the Estuary for the next 6 hours, will it or wont it

Yeah. Just been outside and watched the clouds for 5 mins. Defo a WSW track to them now. Quite a drop in wind speed as well. Perhaps a lull as she clears her throat ????

Essex is sucking the life out of those snow showers, just leaving scraps for London

There's not a lot of depth to the showers. So they are not getting very far inland from the coast. Maybe 10 -15 miles in before they fizzle out. In fact the whole band of showers seem to be decaying away now.

Is it occluded or something, otherwise we are are going to be seriously cold before it comes. I think it's unlikely.

Yep there is, but that one spot of anoprobe that's always there during cold convective weather, must be caused by something, but I've no idea what.

Is there a boy their, have that put a radar station there, unlikely. I don't think it's a wind farm. Not sure if there's any placforms in that part of the north sea.

It’s definitely convection, nothing else explains the reloading front now.

exactly what is Medwegians wanted!

If any night is going to produce it will be this one -12C uppers as cold as February 2009 while I’m not making parallels.

Just heavy snizzle here Locksbottom but with winds going ENE as PS has just stated may give it till 11.30 now.No work tomorrow or probably this week(I’m a gardener) so not as though I have to get up early .Would be great to get another top up but maybe I am being greedy.

stay safe
