Really coming down now. Probably had more coverage in last hour than we've had in last 24.

Nothing here apart from very very light snow

You must be in the middle of the showers. Moderate to heavy snow here, roads covered again. Hope you get some. Radar does look good tho

Says 1.4c now but this is the thermometer that broke I.know I'm.the warmest spot by the times at the bottom of a hill nearish to that 0c

That may have a bearing on it.

Umm. Needs to scoot off I did note that in the south east of Kent and south east essesz temperature vsbd dew points are lower...

Due to the higher snow cover in these locations evidently

I wouldn’t give up hope. That frustrating warm front is moving south and shrinking away. Also the snow over Norfolk is now getting further south so hopefully more of Cambridgeshire should come into play in the next couple of hours.

Looks like a fail again. Everything since 530ish when those showers started streaming in has fizzled out long before here. Just stuck my head out of the window and there are plenty of clear spells with clouds just floating by. Sigh.

Just on a break from work (C2C driver).

Southend at 1900 was beautiful....snow so heavy it sounded like rain (it wasn't!) hitting the windscreen at 65mph.

Westcliffe, Chalkwell , Leigh and Benfleet were similar but then started easing off for the rest.

Interesting to see snowfall along the entire route...even a patchy covering right up to the platforms at Fenchurch St!

Looking at the radar, I'm in for an interesting night until I finish at 0150.

Strange goings on with the radar

When greens are overhead its dry and when there are breaks in the radar it snows lol

Something up with it me thinks

Walderslade. I'm thinking the height might be helping. Haven't had the patio fully covered this whole time and now it is in the space of an hour

Agreed, the amount of holes in the precip and the random direction the heavier echos seem to go doesn't look right to me either.

The snow over south Essex is taking an age to get into NE London...

It's won't move any further west for some reason. It's been at around the same point for a while.

Really coming down still here! I got in from work at 6pm and it was snowing and now the van and all the tracks i left in the road and driveway are fully covered again.

Very dry snow, blowing around nicely in the wind ❄️⛄

Looking ok for here to, snow intensity increased slightly, even though the flakes are small they are the bigger than previous

Glitter falling here. Snowed a good majority of the day but always light so accumulation was hardly noticeable.

One thing I’ve learnt over all the years is the best snow is generally not forecast. In 2010 I was expecting a few cms. I was annoyed when it started as heavy snizzle but out of nowhere it went nuts! Convection kicked in over us and I ended up with about a foot of snow that night (and very little sleep!)

Not saying that will happen again but you just never know in these set ups

Just looked out the window and this evenings batch of ❄️ is the best snow we’ve had so far (in terms of laying) here in Faversham! Road and paths got a covering... finally! It’s either been graupel like or blown away to god knows where. Temps are lower tonight so that’s got to be helping as well

I feel we need to see this band (red) clear through and get out of the way and then we will see the heavier convective showers (yellow) over Norfolk slowly head further southwards down the north sea
