Cloudy start, but it's thin, with plenty of blue showing through, so the sun should break through quite quickly.

This summer has been a cloud fest.  Yes we have had some warm and sunny days but like today...more cloud  was hoping for a bit of a late summer heading into Autumn but does not look that likely.

never underestimate north sea filth, especially for NW Midlands area, can take all day to lift, stratocumulus

I’m reserving my thoughts ( it’s been a confusing number of days )  I understand it’s been challenging for even the professionals this past week but regards tomorrow the Met office and BBC have us with sunny intervals tomorrow ️️️️ Come on my glass is half full

Just about acceptable here this morning. Not very warm (16.1 °C) but it feels OK if you're walking and there are at least a few breaks in the clouds, though they've filled in a bit since earlier. Could be worse I suppose, and frequently has been. Useable weather at least.

Was hoping to see some sun today before the upcoming cloud fest next week, but it's just been another November-like day (except warmer). Really hoping next weekend will bring something much more pleasant than this.

The positioning of this HP has been our downfall in seeing all this low cloud coming directly off the North Sea and we’ve got another 5 or 6 days of it, it seems.....Boooo

Caught a glimpse of brightness about 6.30 this morning, but it's filled in again. Satellite does seem to suggest that the cloud is a little thinner in the West, so maybe the odd brighter spell today.

exact opposite here, looks much worse with drizzly showers, reminds me a bit of Tues 5th Jan this year
