Snowing quite heavily again. Could be the last snow shower of this cold spell and the last snow until next winter, looking at the radar.

Almost as good an effort as the February easterly!

Although that says more about how pants the easterly was rather than how impressive this is!

Just under 2cm of lying snow here after a heavy snow shower around 1600 g.m.t. The temperature fell to -1.4c in the shower and has remained below 0c ever since.

Had 3 heavy snow showers between 5.50 and 6.20 was great to see , kids were nearly as excited as me

had a flurry about 7.30 but clearing skies now , gonna be a cold mid winter / early spring night

if this is the last snow until autumn it’s been fun

After frequent very light snow showers today, with no settling, I have just been out to put the car in..

Was surprised to find a 0.5cm covering of snow on top of the car...

Another day of laying snow.

Very cold for the time of year last night with the min' of -4.5c equal to the April record set on the 11th in 1978. The grass ( snow surface ) min of -9.2c was the lowest on record in April and the lowest so far this year. Very impressive after the highest March max' on record just a week ago.

Still most of yesterday evening's snow on the grass, quite a bit still on cars, houses and hedges, easily more than half cover at 0900 GMT so a day of lying snow in April. Survived very well for 1cm, 14 hours on the ground and only went down to -1 last night.

I gave the car a quick wash down a couple days ago, It now looks like it's been driven though a sandstorm.  Guessing all the precipitation cleared all that Sahara dust out of the air...

The forecast for the next week or so really is disappointing. Just looks to be cold, cloudy, and breezy with a couple of rain showers. I guess the only good thing is that it is relitavely dry.

Chances growing of more snow later this week ??❄️❄️

Maybe. Looks more marginal though.

Amazed to see places having snow settling during day light. Just have been extremely heavy snowfall. Nothing settled here despite it absolutely chucking it down.

Absolutely nobble, most winters recently have been disappointing, this winter has been very unpredictable regarding the models, and how they’ve been wrong at times....turned out better ❄️☃️ next year (winter) we’ll see and maybe different, like you said it’s been FUN

But as we move on to the thunderstorm summer sessions we crave for.....Booms and all that

happy days

To all, Regarding thoughts over this past winter....it’s been a great blast, with you lot within our region enjoying the snow-fest at times, how some it were and was disappointing for some, then for some    what the hellthat’s the way it lands I'm afraid ❄️❄️❄️

Coldies I’ll see ya next year ☃️❄️
