Stunning ice formations up the road from me, like something out of a sci-fi film!

I LOVE WINTER(let’s hope it’s not over??)

This time the region will be buried in a blanket of snow

Can confirm that my lamppost has just recorded 3 flakes.

A real blizzard here then too!

Light snow flurry here just now. You can see each individual flake settle and stick. The ground is absolutely perfect for it. What could have been this weekend ay?

But...the conditions were perfect for it on the 24th January too...and it did happen that day. So c'est la vie.

Further to this, they are plenty of members that are showing very cold conditions towards the end of February, more runs

That flurry was snow event 5,098 this winter. To put that into perspective, it’s 5,098 times more than I saw most winters in London ❄️ ⛄☃️

After witnessing 30 flakes fall here earlier and yh counted each one lol. Does seem as though this is the end for our Winter chances. It's been a pleasure fellow snow nutters, and we have witnessed some great snow falls and overall a memorable Winter. From tonight the mild air starts to move in and after what we have had the past week or so, next week will feel Tropical in comparison. Still a small chance of a Swansong but imo I think its over until Next Winter. Thankyou and stay safe guys and girls. ?❄?

Well, temperatures have now peaked above freezing and looks to remain that way for at least the next 10 days.

They get access to the GFS 15Z output, which actually shows an embedded trough bound for staffs that wasn’t picked up before .... Shame it’ll be RAIN
