Great wintry scenery at chasewater too. Proper Winter look, unlike that mild rubbish some on here want, just because there isn't 3 foot of snow.

I am having a problem with finding a snow radar with place names for the stream .......were am i going to find that particular map/radar on Netweather

.Is it an extra feature

It’s the NW v8 radar, subs need, and as you can see, Paul guided me to the place names within the map

You can change the opacity of the radar image from the same menu as the weather type. To change the map background is the map icon near the top right

We'll be publishing a video walk through of the radar soon, to go through the various options and features.

Feels more bitter today with a lack of sun. Wind is stronger too and air temp still -1c.

Just dipped below freezing again, after a maximum of +0.5 °C when there was a bit less cloud an hour or two ago. Didn't feel quite as cold out as yesterday around here, odd considering the wind is still a feature.

Been below freezing all day here, -1 is the highest it's gotten to and DP's at -9 currently.  Dry as a bone outside and looks deceptively warm with the lack of frost but as soon as you go outside it's bitter as the 9th circle of hell, especially with the gusty wind.

Phantom snowfall everywhere, always a problem with these fronts.

One of the minor irritations of what's otherwise been a decent winter here is that we haven't managed a single ice day. Several with the max under 1 °C, but couldn't quite keep it below freezing.

Looking directly up there is a kind of very faint light/shadow streakiness to the cloudbase, guessing it's snow virga and the air is just so dry it's eating it up before it gets close to the ground.

Tis getting visibly darker here, can physically see the light level dropping, and clouds are getting darker to my West and South, so still a tiny bit of hope.

Cheers Dance/Paul.....I have found the new radar.... but I'm streaming through OBS...which on their interactive browser, the " weather type button is just out of sight on my OBS preview screen

I have only just started using the OBS platform...and im sure there will be a setting for the interactive browser that allows me to capture the whole browser

I need  OBS experience/ advice

A few flakes blowing around here. Nothing much, but it is snowing.

Well the radar is showing the front a lot further East as predicted,

even though the radar is showing snowfall for my area.

I can confirm.....NO Snowfall is me

They are all the same in showing precipitation, if you asked me it’s a simple case of all that’s falling is evaporating before it reaches us.
