3 days watching many showers just missing me on the radar. Take my eyes off the radar today and look what develops! Looks like a direct hit! Again it’s completely clear sky looking just to my north as this shower cloud moves in towards me. Looks like there’s a bit of inland convection going on as showers are developing out of nothing and coming towards me.

Missed by a fraction of a mile I can see it snowing in the distance. More showers following though.

Met Office Yellow Warning for Snow for West Midlands, but lets just say after recent 'early' warnings I do not hold much hope

This has potential to be another March 12 2006 event. The front stalled about 20-25 miles west of here where they had big snowfalls and Birmingham nothing

Some activity getting going in the North Sea now as showers start to pile in from the wash.

Today was meant to be largely dry across the region!

Surely won’t miss me this time. That last shower was an absolute joke.

Just got in, I am currently drooling over the mass that's heading in, coming in from a touch more to the NNE too which is giving me hope, the bit heading towards me doesn't have to get over Leek/Cheddleton.

Had 3 days of lying snow this year, which is pretty dire compared to other areas. Then again, what can you expect from Stratford? Found these map which places it among the least snowiest areas of the whole region (unsurprisingly).

Just show's how 'warm' river valleys are, they are clearly visible in the first image.

Heavy snow now while the sun is out. Settling in the shade.

Just beginning to start here, always nice seeing flakes glinting in the sunlight as they fall.

Just started snowing again.

Although last nights snow has thawed quite a lot, there is still more left than yesterday, with more snow left on the lawn, whereas yesterday it melted right up to the path. So that's a little improvement.

Just had one that lasted about 5 minutes. Not great when it looked liked a line of about half a dozen showers was heading right in. Think my luck has finally run out this winter! So many near misses during this event.
