Wow, just looked out the window and it's all white, the streamer finally moved north a little and is over my location! Looks like a few more showers on the way too. It's only a cm or so, but it's the best I've had this cold spell.

Not sure about that. Anything building to my north east dies out long before getting here.

You're getting what we've not long had in Stafford. The showers seem to be forming into a continuous band now.

No doubt it will manage to melt despite being -4 and the middle of the night, seems to be the way with this spell

Got one on my phone called 'Weather and Radar'.

Its not too bad and enables you to go back or forward.

Meh. After being stuck in the dry zone between 2 streamers for the 2nd day in a row, I think it’s time to call it a night!

That might be that for me, next one will be too far south imo. Good 3-4cm, grass completely covered. An accumulating snow event in each month of winter, don't remember the last time that happened.

Still got the dusting so not melting! Some more flakes been falling, that streamer is so narrow that some bits of it hit me and some go over town (5 miles S).

Its not our night mate there's literally a 10 mile gap we are stuck in. West brom, Tipton had heavy snow how on earth have we missed them all. Looks the same with the rest missing us by a few miles every time. Used all our luck up this morning I think. To the North of us might do well later.

we could be hit in around   twenty minutes   one large shower is slightly more south

snowing here but very lite settling on grass and on my plant pots got to say though the BBC app has been quite accurate over the last day or two for here.
