High resolution models called this well for tonight. They all showed the showers increasing tonight. Guessing it’s that convergence zone near the Wash.

Edit: Timed this well with @andy_leics22 comment

What did they show? Any charts?

Wow, just looked out the window and it's all white, the streamer finally moved north a little and is over my location! Looks like a few more showers on the way too. It's only a cm or so, but it's the best I've had this cold spell.

@MattStoke if the radar is to be believed, it looks like you’re coming into line for some good showers? I’m still gonna be in the gap!

Not sure about that. Anything building to my north east dies out long before getting here.

Here comes the next one! A few more of these and there'll be a decent covering by the morning.

You're getting what we've not long had in Stafford. The showers seem to be forming into a continuous band now.

No doubt it will manage to melt despite being -4 and the middle of the night, seems to be the way with this spell

Any of you guys recommend a good radar, ones that show what to expect, not one that only covers the previous 3 hours lol

Got one on my phone called 'Weather and Radar'.

Its not too bad and enables you to go back or forward.

Meh. After being stuck in the dry zone between 2 streamers for the 2nd day in a row, I think it’s time to call it a night!

That might be that for me, next one will be too far south imo. Good 3-4cm, grass completely covered. An accumulating snow event in each month of winter, don't remember the last time that happened.

Been under the streamer now for a few hours. Not been too heavy but settling nicely.

Thats one serious streamer  making its way through the wash     if it hold together  could be some decent falls for the lucky few

Its not our night mate there's literally a 10 mile gap we are stuck in. West brom, Tipton had heavy snow how on earth have we missed them all. Looks the same with the rest missing us by a few miles every time. Used all our luck up this morning I think. To the North of us might do well later.
