The convergence line that was showing on the Met Office fax chart yesterday appears to be the culprit for the Wash streamer this morning.

It has all changed to cloud now.

Yeah I keep seeing snow and heavy snow on MetO; BBC and AccWeather app then all I see is it getting pushed back and replaced with blood and 10% chance ??‍♂️

Where have you seen that? Ive not looked at any charts since yesterday but when i did they seemed to suggest showers dying out the further into the week we went.

Good covering here this morning about 3cm looks like them streamers have gone abit more north now over me

I think it will be more the chance of a few passing showers today. Doesn’t look like there will be as many streamers as yesterday. Just the one through the Wash.

About a cm here in total, roads hazardous though & most surfaces completely white for now so nice to look at. Just on the south edge of the wash streamer so getting some flakes falling from time to time inbeteeen bursts of sunshine & a fair bit of blue sky, so a real mixed bag. Just need the streamer to edge just a touch southwards & get a bit heavier to shut out the sunlight.

Proper flakes this morning also, none of the rubbish graupel/sugar grain stuff we were plagued with all day yesterday.

Beautiful start to the day here. Bright blue skies, with a thin covering of snow and ice.

Good to see more places getting snow overnight and this morning. A far cry from completely dry with leaden skies
