Iv missed the streamer line for the last 24 hours by about 3 miles and still not in it. I'm honestly cursed I hate living in low ground with a passion

Been stuck under the streamer all day yesterday and all last night, but it's not as good as you'd think, the total accumulation is around 1 inch, but it seems the same as yesterday will happen, and it'll melt off during the day.  I hope it doesn't but ..meh!

So, if you think us under the streamer have awoken to Narnia, not quite :-)

Still snowing here litely I would say it’s about 2 cm that’s just a guess I didn’t take a proper measurement just dip my finger in it. Long may it continue through out the day and I hope everyone get to see some.

Looks like I am still just a tad too north. A light dusting around 8-9pm last night but then nothing since. Looks like others that did not get any snow yesterday are starting to get in the game, which is good to see. @sheikhy's Winterwonderland is still booming I see!

Same 1-2cm here, did not expect that last night whatsoever

Frustrating to say the least! Literally there is no snow on the ground here. Yet drive 2 miles and start to hit a good covering of snow ??‍♂️

Doesn’t look like I’ve seen any further snow overnight. Looks very good from the Wash down to around Birmingham. Nice streamer.

Interesting model output for late this week/early next week. A few Atlantic frontal systems trying to push in, stalling and bringing outbreaks of snow. Although very uncertain how far eastern any such fronts might get.

UKV going for it. Doesn’t look anything hugely significant and some models keep fronts further west.

Only a CM or 2 off the December event here, stuck my finger in the snow, very powdery but got around 3 - 4cm atm and still coming down nicely.

@stripeyfox looks like Melton has a good set of streamers going over!

yeah, we are doing well at the moment, probably about 6cm on the ground and snowing heavily in pulses - seems to be coming an 15 - 20 minute bursts.

Am sat in the consevatory (or at least it was in the olden days - is now my home office!) about to start work and looking at a very snowy scene!

Let's hope these streamers can share this snow around a bit!

Unexpected change in fortune for Brum and West Mids overnight. Wind direction has changed the alignment of the streamer.  Probably a few 2-3cm now.

Funny that it has coincided with Met app dropping snow symbols from automated forecast!

Snowing again, bigger flakes than yesterday. In the path of a streamer it seems.  Onwards to Coventry looks like!
